He's doing his best

There's a lot of cool stuff here. The sound of gunshots being delayed during the sniper scope scene was my favorite detail. My only real issue is that I would have had the music kick in a little earlier, when the gunfight first started. (though that jazzy style really works for this!)

"non-consensual circumcision" in the tags makes me a bit concerned about what's gonna go down in this update, not gonna lie.

Aside from that, if this snippet of animation is anything to go by, that kickstarter budget is being put to good use. Looking forward to Pico Day!

I laughed

I first saw this video 15 years ago. Rewatching it now, I was able to recall every single scene and detail as it appeared, but I teared up all the same. It's beautiful and heartfelt, as many have said already, but for me personally, it is so, so much more than that.

Without going into unwanted detail, I was living in some particular conditions back than that caused this video to hit me far, far harder than it might have intended to. It put into words, and music, so much of what I had struggled with back then, and it also gave me something beautiful to strive for.

As of this writing, I now work in the music industry. I have many reasons for that choice, but this video is one of them. I don't know if you're still active on Newgrounds, or if you read reviews, but I just want you to know that your work has changed at least one person's life for the better. Thank you. With all the earnestness I can muster, thank you.

While I prefer the more rapid-fire humor of the first one, I do appreciate how this one takes the one joke as far as it can possibly go and then some. The last line just brings it all together.

This series is rough, unrefined, and unapologetically vulgar. And yet, somehow, it's got it's hooks in me. I can't wait to see where this insanity goes next.

Awesome! A worthy revival of a classic!

This is incredible for it's time, and it still holds up today! Emotional, action-packed, occasionally silly, and significant for Newgrounds history at the time of making this. Definitely worthy of having a place in history.

(It's funny seeing a scarred, traumatized Pico so early. Since FNF made it's rounds, a bunch of people who discovered Pico from it depicted him in a similar light. This is still the best take on the idea I've found, though)

Somehow, this feels even more cursed than your usual stuff

I generally keep to myself. Grew up with flash games since I was a kid. In addition to gaming, I'm also a solid writer.
